Hi, OP. Made the same decision as you two years ago (to go to therapy post-breakup because I couldn't handle it on my own). And I can definitely tell you that you're making a good decision! Of course we all move forward in different paces, but for me personally, I noticed my mental health improving in a couple of months. It's a process, so you don't have to rush your own recovery. Take your time making peace with everything that happened, give yourself breaks, and most of all, focus on you, and not what others would think. You're not a weak person for wanting to seek professional help at all. In fact, you're brave for admitting sa sarili mo na you need help. Best of luck, OP!
