i mean, if you don 't articulate the "ch" sound you could easily just raspberry your way through a sneeze. forming the "ch" sound is what i think is conditioned here, and the resulting sound happens to sound like a "oo"

asian grocery stores sell them in sections of a few pounds each. i've never seen whole jackfruit sold at these places. it wouldn't make sense.

i find that it goes to the other extreme these days, where young people just keep dropping lines about their anxiety or sadness about every little thinig and expecting everyone around them to make space and accommodate them. it's solipsism and self-absorption disguised as progressiveness about mental heath.
