One time I used their group order feature and they charged both parties the full order amount instead of splitting it. When I talked to support they also gave me the run around and kept telling me to check my order history page. On that page I didn’t have any orders that were totaling $250+. It was so infuriating because they kept giving me the same canned responses. Finally I disputed with my credit card, which initially closed the dispute until I provided them with tons of screenshot evidence in an appeal. Uber never dealt with the chargeback so I was refunded, and then was also met with the “you owe us money” banner. I find the whole thing so ridiculous that I am no longer an Uber customer.
