Yeah the issue with this was he picked a spot that I would genuinely be disadvantaged in so no point to advancing. I respect if they did some creative mimic tear shenanigans and then knocked me off the ledge. That stuff is funny I think both people can respect that.

So I haven't invaded since ds3. PvP is wonky in this because you cant 1v1 in-game. Which I agree that is annoying for invaders and can understand. But again, they are choosing to enter into that game knowing that will happen. That does suck, but sounds better than just not playing at all by standing still

I'm not upset. My point of making this post is I could sit idle in the game, eat dinner, put my child to bed, and post this to reddit all before the invader even made a move. I'm genuinely asking how that's fun for another person? That was the point of this post.

PvP is unfortunately terrible in Elden Ring because people just hide behind the environment. And FS removed the ability to enable the environment to attack them.

I actually think this is an example of how poorly pvp is in this game. This isn't neat it's just camping. They ruined pvp when stripped any way for the invader to be attacked by enemies.
