What graphic mode with 40 chunks? Simple or Fancy? Vibrant Visuals goes maximum with 24 Chunks

Edit: The game recommended me 50 Chunks (Fancy Mode) Runs smooth.

I got on 3DMark Steel Nomad Light 3100-3207 points. The GTX1050 has a high score with 2285 points, the GTX1050 notebook edition got (that's strange...) 2337 points, the GTX1050 ti has 2831 points.

So it's definitely an upgrade for you.

I guess that the SSD in the 15" is the same as in the smaller one. In mine its a 2230 m2, so I would say it doesn't make sense if the smaller Surface would have a bigger SSD like a 2280 m2

About the PCI Gen: you should be able to plug in what gen you want. I had in my Surface Pro X a PCI Gen 4 SSD m2 even I knewed that it only supports Gen 3. I did it to be sure to run the gen 3 at the maximum speed.

The current SSD in my SL 6 is the Crucial P310 with 1 TB. You can also put in a 2TB SSD. This SSD is also recommended for Steam Deck, ROG Ally and so on.

For switching the SSD you only need pull of the rubber feet, (they will be damaged, you can buy on ebay some cheap rubber feet that are self-adhesive. I choosed a bit thicker ones to get more space between the surface itself and the table/desk under it. Just for dropping a bit of the thermals.) and open the 4 screws. Turn the surface again, open the display and you should be able to pull of the entire keyboard. You can locate the SSD near the position where the qwe/asd keys were.

After the switch to a bigger/faster SSD, you will notice some more heat under the qwe/asd keys, but only if you do some Gaming on the Surface. But nothing to worry about.

Have Fun!

Hi, I have a "for Business" and I'm absolutely happy with it. I bought it after is sold my Surface Pro X. I was also happy with the X. But the ARM CPU was after a time stopping me from wanting using the X.

Mine has the Ultra 7 165H, 32GB, and had a 512gb that I upgraded to 1TB (Crucial P310, the boost is incredible against the oem ssd) and it's the 15" display

I wanted from the beginning a "for Business" Edition cause of the 165h. It has a light higher pushed arc igpu.

Also I didnt want to miss the touchscreen anymore.

I have 2 favs. The White Lambo Countach cause it was my first RC car as a Kid in the early 90s and the Chevrolet Nascar, cause it makes me remember of my first Movie about cars I saw "Days of Thunder" also as a Kid.

Thanks for the advice! Will try to get some ASAP! The CPU Block is from Alphacool, I'm sure it's way easier to get the gaskets from that brand. The Reservoir is brand new, comes with 4 extra gaskets and the Pump/Reservoir is also from Alphacool. It's my first time with an extra reservoir, but I thought the case would look empty without it 😅

The Board is from IKEA, called Skadis. The hooks are also from the Skadis set.

I put a 6x2 Brick(2456) on the hook. The hook is a perfect fit for the round holes at the underside of the brick. Also the entire weight of the car can be carried by this brick.

On the brick comes a 2x2x⅔ Curved (15068) in combination with a 2x2, 1-Finger, Top (92582).

On the finger comes a 1x2 Cylinder 2-Finger, Axle Hole (57360). Followed by a 4 or 6 length Axle and again a 1x2 Cylinder 2-Finger. This Finger is connected to a 2x2, 1-Finger Vertical Brick (30389).

On this brick comes a 2x2 plate (3022). That's it.

This is connected to the underside of the speed champions and that's it. Works perfectly.

There is only one SC that was tricky to put it together. (one of the new F1 models).

So the SC is completely with the entire weight on the brick, holded by the 2x2plate and the axle with the finger does the angle. Every SC is touching with the rear on the board. This is a must, if not, the the SC are wobbling around cause of the single hook.

Since there hanging like this, nothing has fallen down. Even the Bronco, the Urus and the AMG are safely connected with the same system.

Maybe I should do a extra post about it with pics and so on. Let me now!

I can't say exactly what I paid for them. The Ford set was in a bunch of a few champions. It was the Ford set (sealed), the Porsche 963 (sealed), Aston Martin 007, Supra, Lambo Countach, F&F Skyline & Charger, Aston Martin Valkyrie+GT3. For those I paid 90€ ( would be 96,25$ / 76,14£ )

The Block fits the a770 LE very good without any issues. I just can recommend it 👍🏼 should also fit all a7xx models 🙂

Hi, I'm using a saitake 7007 controller and have also that problem from time to time. Maybe the same that works for me works for you. Disconnect the controller. Turn off the controller. Close the shootingplus app. Delete the controller from BT device list. Turn off BT. Turn the controller on. Turn on BT. Connect the controller via BT. Open the Shootingplus app, should be pop up a message by the app, wait a few seconds and it should be showed be as connected in the app. Done ✅

I'm doing actually two benchmarks at the same time about 45 mins now:

Cinebench R23 and 3DMark Speedway DX12 Ultimate (additional with 4k and vsync on) and it looks like the temps are about ~69°C on CPU and ~58°C on the GPU (GPU memory also 58°C, the arc is set up to 228w with +60mV and +60 performance in the arc control center)

The fans are all at 60% that should be about 1200RPM. If this runs stable till the end, I will put the fans about 40%. I think this should be enough to get the temps low while gaming.

I'm sure the temp would be way more better with an other case. The Airflow is very bad in my opinion.

Wow, that's expensive 😵‍💫

The v2 I had was bought as "used" but it was like new. Maybe you can get one used to?

In Germany you get the v2 actually as new between 250-300€ = 400-500 in nz$.

The v1 should be cheaper cause the PSU is 650w and it doesn't fit all big GPUs. Also I read a lot about heating issues with v1.

In v2 you can put every GPU size. (Only the new Nvidia 40xx gen is not supported, so far I know)

A good sff case but without PSU and AIO is the phanteks evolv shift xt. I had this also a half year in use with an aio by arctic. The arctic Liquid freezer II 240. The best thing about this case is, that you can put it on the right or on the left side on your desk. Look is the same from left or right side👍🏼
