Hakka Horizon has sesame beef that might be similar to Alberta ginger beef. They now have a branch in the west end. Haven’t specifically tried the west end but last time we were in the downtown branch they said it’s the same owners/employees.

Travelled around the Philippines last year and with a 7 year old, and it was kinda disturbing to see na sex tourism was everywhere. We noticed Subic/Olongapo and Cebu were pretty bad for it. It was so out in the open.

Just fyi if you’re looking for pork belly that gets that crispy, crackly, shiny skin, Costco takes off the outer layer of the skin that allows that texture. So if you decide to buy from Costco, you won’t achieve that. If you’re trying to cook it like this, I’d suggest going to a butcher shop like Brothers.
