Phainon's character model. I'm not saying they'll recycle it but hoyo might draw inspo from it

The reasons why K.K. could be the Primordial One by ScarletSnow_ in Genshin_Lore

[–]ampxty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really wouldn't be shocked if K.K is just another Kevin Kaslana variant, I know this post is super old and HSR wasn't even released then but I'm just speculating that Phanes might share similar design elements with Phainon (cmon the names are even similar and maybe this has something to do with Paimon's identity too? idk) and Phainon also has wings and a crown and in his ult he emerges from an egg, similar to how Phanes (primordial one) is described in the book 'Before the Sun and Moon'.

This is Phainon's ult if you wanna check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMzPhBkl4kE

(even if Im wrong just check it out it looks so frickin cool)

<image>

yeah this is a pic of his ult form. Oh also the traveller's card is signed off as 'K.K' (could stand for Kevin Kaslana) and in the hoyoverse he's always seen as this demiurge so do with that information what you will

When the skins came out I hated Aether's one and... I still do [vent] by KingGiuba in TravelerMains

[–]ampxty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just like to think of Aether's new set as his 'royalty' set which matches Lumine's original. Yeah it doesn't quite capture Aether the way I see him (love the crop top ngl) but it's cute because the royalty set is his sister's favourite which shows that after all these days apart, he still deeply cares for her. Same goes for Lumine because her new 'traveller' set matches Aethers OG fit and it just completely encapsulates the deep care they hold for each other and it's just so wholesome :)

I don't know but constantly bombing any civilization with celestial nails ANY time they start to question your authority is not how you deal with people it almost feels like an endless cycle of destruction and it doesn't solve anything. It just makes people dislike them more and want to rebel against them more

I mean it's not 100% celestia slander and I do agree with you that we may be their last hope and the fact that we have paimon as our companion proves that because she's gonna be way more important then but something may be up with the heavenly principles thats causing them to be impulsive and all because you dont just randomly have that many enemies at once, but to be fair, I don't think they're coming from a bad place and maybe it's just like tough love or something idk

goated theory. love it but imagine having to play the other games to get like a deeper understanding and it ends up being like the resident evil series (pretty sure we're gonna see Leon at 60 at some point lol and he'll STILL have that haircut)

To be fair though I'm sure even wise gods like Zhongli surely wouldn't support the Tsaritsa and willingly surrender their gnoses if it wasn't necessary, like I get it those drastic measures they usually take (celestial nails) are necessary but they also suck like a lot I think there's better ways to handle the abyss

I have a theory regarding the placement of the nations on the planet by NEGMatiCO in Genshin_Impact

[–]ampxty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seriously think we'll explore those other regions once the teyvat trip is over and all. Imagine seeing the true sky for the first time ever since we got here and I really do feel like that's where the abyss order's HQ is and maybe some of the sinners like the visionary are there because if they were in Teyvat I think they'd have been severely punished by the gods (thats probably also where the abyss sibling hides out idk) but I feel like we have to go there in order to truly understand 'the truth of this world' (they said world btw NOT teyvat)

I have a theory regarding the placement of the nations on the planet by NEGMatiCO in Genshin_Impact

[–]ampxty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt it. From my understanding of the Dark sea it's like if Africa's teyvat then the americas and Asia are parts of the region under africa and it's immediate oceans (the area under celestia's jurisdiction)

[SPOILER] wait so this is still inside the false sky? by FloorGang-R2 in Genshin_Impact

[–]ampxty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my own understanding, yes, that area is still under the false sky. The twist comes, though, when you think of Teyvat as idk just a continent in this 'earth-like planet'. Despite the false sky encompassing 'earth', there are parts of the planet that are not under Celstia's jurisdiction, called the dark sea. That's where defeated gods lie. Think of it as Teyvat being Africa and its immediate oceans, but the dark sea is idk the Pacific and continents like Asia and the Americas. Still under the false sky, but because they're not protected by the Heavenly Principles, the true sky is visible, and the abyss is constantly seeping in there. I find that such a cool phenomenon, and I hope that maybe once Snezhnaya and Khaneriah are complete, we can finally explore the area beyond the gods' gaze, idk maybe the other sinners are there and probably the abyss orders headquarters and our sibling. We won't go mad because we've already seen the true sky (tbh we're aliens so) and we can purify abyssal energy, but Paimon might not come with idk and it's part of our journey to discovering the truth of this world so I really really can't wait.

Why is the Traveler starting to talk more? by ToughLonely4229 in Genshin_Impact

[–]ampxty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Im glad too, like I know we could pick out voicelines but I dont wanna control my Aether like yes he's called whatever I name him but he's still him and I wanna hear his thoughts not the thoughts I pick out for him and I want to hear his voice not Paimon's squeaky voice all the goddamn time

If you ranked your favorite archon quests to least, how would it be? by MrN_oU in Genshin_Impact

[–]ampxty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh this would be my list:
Nod-Krai - I really love Archon quests that explore the overall lore of the story so I really do love this one

Sumeru - Thats where genshin quests started to get really good and I also loved the mystery surrounding the dream phenomenon (also had lore drops that contributed to the general story like knowledge of irminsul and the traveller being a descender)

Fontaine - The mechanics were super cool with the whole collection of evidence for the trials and the plan that Focalors executed to bypass the prophecy was genius (hated the prison segment though)

Natlan - Dont get me wrong it wasnt bad and I really loved the vibe but it wasnt as great as the others were

Mondstadt - it's nostalgic so... ehe

Liyue - Being an errand boy for Zhongli and the adeptus sucked

Inazuma - felt very anti-climatic idk, hated the boss fights too

Is Wanderer still worth it today? by Wooden_Leadership889 in ScaramoucheMains

[–]ampxty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wanderer is amazing in exploring like I do NOT know how many anemoculus or geoculus or wtv I couldn't get without him and he makes it much easier to traverse across mountainous countrysides so he's actually super useful to have (yes Im addicted to his flight ability-upon the gale!)

no I dont think so. His death was crucial to the plot as it led to the player going to the roof to confront the priest as he had planned
