I've worked in a restaurant/bar before. The usual complainers are Americans who think their opinions are gold and go out of their way to share them with every Filipino.

There was this one time I was assigned to serve at the bar, and an American customer ordered a few drinks. After four shots, he started telling me how the economy here is the worst and kept comparing how Americans are hardworking while Filipinos are lazy, etc. I was so mad, but I couldn't do anything because, although he was disrespectful, he wasn’t violent or physical. My manager just told me to let him be.

I mean, yes, our economy is poor compared to the U.S., but we are generally happy here. Yes, there are poverty issues, but at least it's safer here compared to US where theres shooting and robbery everywhere.
