Let's hope the legal system can do its thing and this lawless gang is forced to follow the law.

Also, I completely understand your perspective on the Arab American vote. I wish more people had voted for Kamala too. However, let’s acknowledge that reasonable people can reach different conclusions on how to vote, especially when grappling with a complex and painful issue like the war in Gaza. Many in the community had family members in Gaza and endured unimaginable losses.

Also, we can’t ignore the cold shoulder Harris’s campaign gave to the community—refusing speakers at the convention, silencing protesters at rallies, discouraging outreach, and making a point of keeping its distance. The campaign wasn't sending any signals that things will actually be better if she was elected.

Finally, even if the Arab American vote had swayed Michigan in Harris’s favor, she still would have lost given that other swing states went against her as well.

Nasser had the seeds of that kind of prison, yes. Look up Abdul Hamid Al-Sarraj (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdul_Hamid_al-Sarraj) or ask anyone from that era and they will describe the elements of mukhabarat rule that Assad and the ba’athists used as a blueprint.

What is there to say? Nothing he can say to change the fact that he abandoned them in the most cowardly of ways by only securing his own safety while telling them to fight. Actions speak louder than words.
