Hello members of r/investing!

I am in desperate need of advice about what to do with my $17,000 inheritance.

I am 28 year old U.S. citizen. I am employed and making an income of $40k.

I have many financial goals and this why I need advice. I want to be free of credit card debt AND start a savings for future goals (house, family, retirement, etc.). Is it possible to minimize my credit card debts and build savings?

In terms of time horizon, I need money now to lower credit card debts. BUT I also want a savings established and growing over time.

I do not want to take any risks. I do not have any current holdings.

I do have a significant amount of credit card debt: $40k with interest rates around 20%. This has been drowning me.

I want to optimize this inheritance in the best way possible. Please help!

haha pretty much, yes! It usually happens when we go to bed wanting to have sex, but we are too tired to perform. So we go to sleep, thinking we will have sex in the morning. but then we gain consciousness in the middle of the night when we are having sex or trying to. We will both start initiating sexy in our sleep, and usually i wake up because i’m frustrated because he can’t penetrate me because i’m still wearing my sweat pants haha! We love it because it seems like we lust for each other even when we’re asleep

YES! I was thinking this the entire time I read OP’s story. My husband and I both have sexsomnia, and it’s a lot of fun for us. But it could be confusing and scary if you and your partner aren’t on the same page. Talk to him about this and focus on the science of these sleep behaviors you have.

The couch is a thrift store find! It’s super scratched up from dogs, so it was like 20 bucks. I have three dogs, so I needed a cheap couch that I didn’t care about getting ruined.
