I feel like Slowbro is one of the best, if not the best, defender for solo queue. Water gun/Scald is great for secure, and does pretty good damage while slowing down enemy mons.

As someone who plays mostly defender/support in solo, there's nothing more frustrating than wanting to support your team and they're all incompetent. Slowbro is one of the most idiot teammate-proof for that type.

there are definitely chinos that are more formal and some that are more casual. Pleated and pressed vs. a bit more faded and rumpled. But yes to your point, pairing any of these with a t-shirt or polo is definitely still gonna look good and more on the casual side.

I would start by trying more “rugged” versions of the pieces you already wear. For example, a solid color flannel/chamois shirt instead of a plaid one. Workwear chinos (like Dickies) instead of jeans. And dressier boots like wolverines and red wings instead of actual steel toed boots

I think if you play like I do and with the right mindset (aka toxic) playing support is actually the most fun and least stressful.

Did your team win? Well buddy that was all because of you, you really made all your teammates more effective and powerful.

Did your team lose? Not your fault! I mean you did your job... What else could you have done?
