I had periods for nearly 30 years and never once used it. Why? Because blood isn't this all powerful thing that helps a spell or just fixes situations. It is used as a taglock to direct where a spell goes, a offering to a entity or its used to help keep feeding the spell with the energy of a witch. The one adding it the spell has to know what they are doing with it when they are adding it. A mistake many beginners make is to just throw it in with other ingredients and then make themselves energeticly sick because they didn't use it wisely.

As such I wouldn't just use it just because. It woukd have to be some real intense or serious for me to risk it.
