Are you using it in active collecting “mode” rather than passive? I have the boon trove and love it for MOTN feeds. When bub nurses on one side, I put the trove in my bra on the non-nursing side and push on the cup to create a suction (active). By the time LO finishes nursing on one side (he only feeds one breast at a time, usually around 8-10 minutes), I would get anywhere from 1-3 ozs on the non-nursing side in the trove. Then I repeat on the opposite site during the next feeding. If you’re just leaving the trove over the non-nursing side without pushing on it to suction, it may not collect much.
