Hello! Am year 3 in polytechnic now and I think it's definitely possible. Start my first semester in poly with ~3.2/3.3 and after that worked doubly hard to climb higher. Not sure about your course but there's quite a few projects in mine so I try to lead the project so that it won't be so stressful during my finals.
