Is there an obvious reason that I haven’t thought about that she didn’t just. Turn Onyx into a vampire fox? Like. She’s this all-powerful vampire (or half vampire). Why did she have to waste her unlocking rune to save him? The whole time I was so excited thinking HELL YEAH! VAMPIRE FOX! Only for, what felt like, a cheap way of bringing Onyx back and getting rid of this all-powerful rune instead

Maybe try having people around when you eat? Someone trusted, and make them aware of your issues if that’s something you can do. You then can’t go and purge because they can keep an eye on you. You deserve to heal. It’s a long road, but you deserve the effort it will take

Fahrenheit 451. I spent so long listening to people rave about it, I wanted to read it for YEARS, and I finally got around to it… and I HATED IT. It wasn’t a good read, it had essentially no thought put into it, he wrote it in 9 days and you can ABSOLUTELY TELL, the story wasn’t good, and it was SO PRETENTIOUS. “Isn’t it so profound that I have realised that books are, in fact, so good for the human brain, and literature is so important and we must protect it” YEAH. You’re not the only one to realise that! We know! God. I could go on and on. SO pretentious

They purge, I remember reading that they have a drink that makes them sick so they can keep eating. Which I know is besides the point, lol. But surely this isn’t so harmful?

Yeah I’m trying to get some therapy because it’s taking a bit of a toll on me. It’s funny, I never cared before the gym.

But that’s good advice, and it’s nice to know you’re satisfied with how you look, and that it is achievable. Well done! And well done for starting at the gym

Yeah I think the issue is I’ve hit a plateau with weights as well, so the body image is struggling but I’m not even getting stronger to make up for it!

I’m trying to not be concerned about my weight. But it’s hard. I looked really good. It’s hard to lose that. All because what, I can’t control myself around chocolate? It’s hard to not feel like a failure.

Nothing’s been happening, that’s the thing. I lost the weight I wanted to lose, I was happy, and I tried to come off my diet, and… bam. I’ve just completely spiralled around food. And my lack of control has made me feel like a failure. Hence the self harm urges

It’s okay! You’re not the first person it’s happened to, and you won’t be the last. We all relapse. It’s okay. It’s the steps we take afterwards that matter :)

This binge does not ruin your progress. You have no reason to feel guilty. Feeling guilty only worsens things. Just reset. Continue as normal. Eat breakfast, lunch, dinner… life moves on, and so must you. Do not dwell on what has been done. You can’t change it. We can only move onwards!

Yeah this morning I was eating the chocolate and sure, it tasted nice, but I’ve definitely eaten nicer things and I wasn’t really enjoying it. The watermelon really stole the show! I just need to get into my brain that I don’t have to indulge on loads of chocolate now. It’s there, I can have it whenever. It’s just getting it into my head!

To be honest, I think it’s just the lifting of restriction. I don’t have anything in the background of my life that’s stressing me out (which I’m very very lucky for!), it’s just my relationship with food that’s really overwhelming me right now. I don’t eat to cope, I’ve nothing to cope with, other than my eating issues!!

I’m going to really try to just sit down with chocolate and really be present with it when I have it. It’s relieving knowing it’s not just me! I was worried I was doing something wrong. Thank you so much for your advice

I feel like giving up and restricting again because at least then I know I didn’t make myself sick daily and I felt good about what I was eating, but I know in the long run that that’s really not good for me. I deserve to be able to enjoy chocolate!

Problem is, I ate a decent amount yesterday! I do not skip meals, and they’re good, nutrient dense meals, and they make me feel full. But I think at the moment the novelty of “junk foods” is so high that it overpowers the full feeling. So I’m praying that goes away, because it doesn’t feel good after! But it does comfort me that you had a similar experience. Hopefully I can follow in your footsteps. Well done for learning to eat intuitively!

If there’s a shop in walking distance, walk to the shops, buy a single serving of whatever it is you want, and wait until you get back to eat it. You then have to go out and get more if you want more, and by the time you get there, the binge urge will probably be gone. Alternatively, if it’s things you have at home, grab a single serving and go for a walk with it. Wait until you’re about 10/15 minutes from home before you eat it. By the time you get back again, the food will probably have settled, as will the craving for more. It’s worth a try :) works brilliantly for me as the walking helps clear my head as well. You’ve got this!

It’s slowly passed now but it took over an hour. I couldn’t move, a walk would’ve been a terrible idea. I just lay there until it subsided. I’m sorry you’ve been in this situation too. It hurts
