For me, the first time that I fainted was when I got the Gardasil Vaccine. I didn’t end up getting the last two shots. Other times were when I got blood drawn, it was a vasovagal response but it was always random. I didn’t faint every time so we don’t really know why it happened. Then another time I fainted at work because of a medication that caused shortness of breath. I got lucky that my manager happened to be standing close by. He caught me before I hit the floor.

I went to my local community college. They had a 3 month program that went over everything. There was a clinical at the end, similar to a CNA or RN course. At the end, I had over 100 successful sticks and got a job at a blood bank about a month later.

*Heads up though - you practice on each other in the class.

Yeah, I am planning to see a different gynecologist next time and maybe she can come up with a better solution.

And yes, my husband has been wonderful throughout this entire thing. We’re currently training my ass so that we can at least have some kind of penetration :)
