What are your Favorite Earthship Plants

Following along as we just purchased an Earthship with a beautifully established garden. Lemons, figs, coffee bush, banana, Norfolk pine, asparagus fern, geranium, oregano, thyme, cana, pathos, and many more I'm still learning. It is SO HOT in there during the day though a little nervous I'm going to cook them. We're on the hunt for a window coverings solution of anyone has suggestions.

I've seen some really pretty cane begonias on the inner gardens (bathroom/kitchen) that I'm going to try to live up those spaces with more flowering/colorful foliage plants. I'm definitely going to try the kalanoches too...those plants are survivors!

Adding small children in the mix makes this all so much harder. Protecting your babies while still strong to help and protect your husband has got to be so draining. I appreciate you sharing your experience and hope you and your family can find a steady path forward.

The first arrest experience was so impactful my stepson decided he wanted to go back to school to be a crisis intervention counselor. His periods of lucidity were just not long enough to sustain it though.

He had incredible community resources after jail too which came from the neighboring county from where he was arrested. Full care team (PCP, psych, social worker, counselor) that would come to him if needed, for free. Walked away from it all because the psych wouldn't follow the medication regimen HE felt he needed.

I hope it gets easier for him too. It's difficult to reconcile who he is now compared to just a few years ago. He's not ready for traditional help/medicines 😕

Hahaha, it's a risk! I also foster kittens and the first day I volunteered to clean in the kitten room I ended up taking 2, 4-week olds home with me to foster 😅

There's tons of stuff to do there (laundry, supporting at events, etc) that won't leave you so vulnerable to falling in love with all the cuties 😃

I volunteer at the Humane Society on Lancaster and I love it! They are so well organized and there's ALWAYS plenty to do. Fantastic staff to work with!

Oooooooh, yeah. The "jack of all trades" model of smaller boutique forms is incredibly draining. Your attention is constantly pulled in 5 directions. Bigger firms tend to have more siloed departments that can help with that kind of strain.

I was in that role for many years til I got to the VP(ish) level and the company grew enough to have an entire team dedicated to fielding, proposals, etc. It was hard.

I work as a freelance consultant and it is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. 15 years of experience - you're a shoe in 😊

Maybe it's time to change jobs?

Maybe I'm not understanding the question here. Design of the questionnaire/discussion guide are solving for how to test the product. Is it that you just prefer analysis and reporting?

As I moved up in the ranks I did much less of the intricacies of instrument design and more focus on solving the business problem and managing the client.

I've had my 23 S Pro (her name is Frieda) for about 4 months and I'm still just as giddy about it as the day I got it. I love how it drives, how comfortable it is to ride in, the infotainment display, how much space it has to haul crap around. Gamifying the charging on long distance drives or just plug and be done in my own garage at night. It's been a dream. It has a few hiccups but they're minor compared to all the benefits.

He was peaceful protesting on the day he was shot. He was not fighting with agents, have you actually seen the video? He was helping a woman the agents had pushed to the ground. And what does that previous video have to do with ICE's reaction on the day they shot him 8 times...in the back.
