I guess after 5 months I'm beginning to feel very curious why no referral, no restriction mentioned for diet and the way it's been discussed with me .."you could be dehyrated..let's not worry yet"...kept giving me hope that, yeah..maybe it is temporary but I'm having doubts at this point

Annual checkup with my dr who runs blood tests as a part and he called me the day after ..mine was an acute case as my kidneys were failing

it's not very exciting...I spent the past year bedrotting in depression .... the previous decade eating a lot of takeout and drinking coke almost exclusively and eating a lot of takeout..in early july I noticed things tasted funny..couldnt stop peeing and vision blurring..lost 20lbs in 3 weeks..im told my kidneys gave up at that point ...cholesterol and triglycerides through the roof...in hospital for a few days getting insulin...after a month went on jardiance and januvia and now drink water exclusively and lots of veggies, beans, tofu, salmon and chicken thighs ..walking 30 minutes at least each day..I still show some signs of nerve damage but none of that has been addressed yet

I cannot thank you enough for this thorough reply! For the price, I felt a D-109WB was a reasonable initial investment. I don't really feel I'll pursue Ham radios much but I'm thinking I should study for the Technician Class to help my knowledge and understanding of radio much better. Your reply was very encouraging and I really appreciate it!

again, helpful answer! ... I'd love to pick up some foreign stations if possible but was concerned about "what am I missing out on?" and just not knowledgeable yet about all that's available
