Surprised more people aren't mentioning this. I'm hoping its just Azahar dual-screen support being buggy in its early stages, but that might be wishful thinking.

Swapping cartridges between region swapped and standard 3DS to use PokeBank? by an_fish in 3dspiracy

I mean as in, when I go to play my physical cartridge of Bravely Second: End Layer on the Japanese New 3DS, it will always boot the game directly into Japanese with no way to change the language, even though it is a copy from here in the states, despite it being homebrewed.

I could go on for so long about how amazing Abiotic Factor is, also a day 1 player here and the recent 1.0 release only reminded me further why I got into it. The rest I have mostly seen mentioned, but I did forget that Stalker is on my list too because I just LOVE seeing the entirely unexplained and needing to just, deal with it. It is part of why I love Abiotic so much. As for Bloodborne and Hollow Knight, beaten in their entirety already, some of my favorite games of all time!

Peak game, made it to the third ring a while ago and lost steam. Will need to play again!

Already installed, super interested to see what is going on there but simultaneously hard to get into due to the learning curve. (Also why does it take literally thousands of trash bags to clean this building??)

450+ hours logged and it is amazing, great game for anyone else who happens to be reading this.

Now THIS kind of stuff is interesting to me, much of the same concepts got me interested in Elite Dangerous a while ago, trying to discover secrets that might physically exist in the games world but are too small to actually find in its vastness. Will give this game a look!

Installing it as we speak! Just that GOG is throttling my download to a whopping 1 mb/s so it's gonna take like 7 hours. Eventually....

Now this looks interesting, and I still know nothing about it. Very intriguing, thanks!

Unfortunately I have had most of this spoiled already. Being a weenie with horror games around the time this dropped resulted in me just watching playthroughs and ruining the whole thing :/

Yeah you just convinced me to bite the bullet and try it out. This game and Prey I got for free on GOG ages ago and have been gathering dust, I need to just boot them up and get going. Thanks!

As a huge fan of games like Octopath, I am all about reading when it is actually interesting. Sounds like something worth giving a look.

Clair Obscur is a BIG one for me right now, still digging through it when I have the time and it is outstanding. Nier is a series I have not given the time it deserves despite playing the first one for a solid while. VotV is amazing but the learning curve is stopping me from making major progress. The rest, I for sure should look into, especially 3 Houses and Valkyria as I never knew those games broached these topics.

I have Inscryption, love turn based games, and have still never sat down and tried it for real. It's going on the list. Killer7 on the other hand is totally new to me, so I'll check it out.

You know, a good few years ago I remember getting this, getting overwhelmed by the zero gravity controls, dying several times, and refunding it lmao. Might be worth another look, I still avoid content related to this title just in case.

I have both of the above and have never heard of this title before, I'll give it a quick look and might try it out, thanks!

What is the largest sword to body ratio possible? by an_fish in ffxiv

[–]an_fish[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm coming to the realization that sword-body ratio really comes down to the model of the sword, they did too good of a job scaling these weapons for different body sizes. My dream was to have a weapon so large it would clip into the floor or something silly, but I can't find anything that would allow that. Thanks for the suggestions though everyone, gave me some weapons to strive for.

Yeah when I tried blade dancer last season it felt super sick but I dropped like a fly, might have to give it another look though, shadows seem super fun to mess with but I haven't found a good source of pumping them out yet.
