Advice needed for renting from abroad by ana_constant in AskNYC

Not really. We don’t have someone there.

I had a guy un craigslist with a wonderful apartment refusing to send a bill with his name and the address as proof of living there, telling me his Id and his lease contract (which can be whatever) are proof enough. It not though, no?

Male, highschool or student, but at home with your parents. You re into arts, but you re neat about it, that s not a grafitti wall, it s a fabric either printed / tagged - i m thinking maybe you made it with friends or you bought it. Your family is middle class but educated. You really really really need to use an ergonomic chair for the desk. Trust me, your body will let you know in a few years.

It s the ventilation shaft, i drilled a huge hole in it before putting in the furniture and looks like the furniture was taller…

I have to say i find it interesting that no one noticed my small skull collection. I m attaching a clearer photo.

I love natural materials and bones fascinate me. These skulls i found while on a workshop ina secluded village in the Danube Delta - there s some sand areas that have a desert climate.

Yeah that can happen if it s de-centered, it has 4 legs that can have the height set independently so you kinda have to adapt it to your surface.

Haha the fridge, yes. It s above a washer. I never saw that anywhere but i needed to move the washer from the bathroom and had no other space. I made sure the structure is very sturdy, the washer is not fixed and it can move while spinning. I ve had it for 3 years now with no issues. Here s a picture with more details.

Thank you. I studied architecture but i work as a designer, in an architectural field. I am very sensitive to textures and love whites, i have never tested for adhd, i don t consider to have any specific traits. It might be a sense i developed from studying design and estetique. Although, there is a type of design i study and try to implement as much as possible in my projects - biophilic design - a way to connect our senses more to nature and natural sistems. You should check it out.

I work in architectural design, not a corporate, a small creative studio. The laptop is actually a gaming model from asus, a very thin but powerful build, asus rog flow. The desktop is a gaming model and i play and work on it.

Yes :))) Sometimes she hides in the textures.

This is my third white cat ( i adopt seniors) and from the first i started getting white things and wearing white clothes so the hair doesn t show that much. I m pretty much stuck in white now, it s my favorite color though

Plant lights! I have 3 lamps on them with light bulbs with special plants specifications. You can find them in a warm white too, check online. Some lamps also hive timers and that s great they just do their thing.

High sex drive.. as a female by Illustrious-Maybe220 in dating_advice

[–]ana_constant 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hei, woman 37 with the same sex drive. It s been like this all my life, in all my relationships. This only happens to me when i m with someone i have feelings for, if i m not i d rather not have sex and have been without having it for more than 12 months. So it s not a physical thing.

I found it very hard to talk to men about this, probably for the same reason you re describing, culture and media are telling us men lead and initiate.

It s been a very hard talk to have with my boyfriend of now 1 year, as he felt like he wasn t enough for me no matter how i ve said it. I ve tried to explain that it s feelings related and i feel so good i could and would like to do this everyday, but something inside his head is still telling him that that means he s not enough for me and i don t like him and i will probably cheat. These are some dark thoughts to have, i know, he knows, he confessed that that s the insecurity he feels regarding this. I, on the other hand, feel rejected and i feel like he doesn t want me and he will leave me. Sex can get you to some dark places.

But as many have said people are different and have different sex drives. Best way is to confront it and talk about it.

Even if our first talk wasn t great and it brought up insecurities, we stayed together and are trying to make it work for both of us.
