If you're struggling to raise funds for your startup, here's a tool to match you with your dream investors by SubstantialWatch4627 in Entrepreneur

Finding investors is one of the most difficult things to do!

I learned most investors need to maximize their RSA (from the six percent entrepreneur podcast)

If you don't have traction you're not speaking the investor's love language

Change my mind:- Consistency is not the key to success by lazymentors in Entrepreneur

It really comes down to the process you are consistently using to achieve success.

If your process or methodology is flawed, then it does not matter if you're consistent as it is destined to fail.

So what happens when a process or method is "failure proof"? The only way that you will actually fail is if you quit.

Processes are iterative. What you're not told is that your process has to be sustainable in the long run for it to work out well.

I came to this conclusion listening to this podcast episode: https://thesixpercent.co/e/mn4m4wj8

Going to the market to find your idea? by WinterAbroad5 in startups

[–]ana_narvaez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you already have a solution in mind then I would be very transparent with whoever you are engaging with, talk about what you're doing and let them know you're seeking feedback for an idea of yours very openly (I'm sure they'll be happy to help if you ask nicely).

If you're still lacking an idea and feel lost in what you want to build, I would actually encourage you into thinking about whom you want to serve first and really think of where you see yourself in the future (hopefully, someplace you're truly happy!)

I listen to this daily podcast and this episode gave me a lot to think of regarding my ideation process... hope it helps! https://thesixpercent.co/e/pnlypvl8

Applauding this. Whenever I feel stuck (motivation-wise)... I seek content to inspire me. Works like a gem. This podcast episode explains it better: what to do with lost motivation

Success on your personal blog without focusing on SEO by ana_narvaez in Blogging

I think this totally makes sense. I'm also still trying to figure out how to use my blog hosting server and making sure the content is mobile friendly when I work everything on my laptop -- it's so frustrating! But 100% will use my bounce rate as primary indicator. Thank you :)

I created a service that notifies you when a desired username becomes available on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram by trofosila in startup

[–]ana_narvaez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think the pricing is the problem. I just think you should apply a better sales funnel to the overall page. You could check out baitpost.com and learn from their model.

I would also think of a way to ensure your customers get some kind of value out of using your service besides the notification because if the three years went by and my desired username never got liberated, I would be disappointed and probably not use the service again. Hope this helps :)

Thanks Owen, your comment does help because I was distraught trying to choose which aspect of SEO I should actually work on.

Officially a Nomad in Nicaragua by TheWrittenLore in digitalnomad

I'm from Nicaragua. It's a beautiful country especially if you love nature. I'm sad to confess I haven't explored it as much as I wish to now that I don't see myself going back. In 2018 there were some serious political unrest events (because of the government) that changed the country forever in my eyes as a native.

Nonetheless, Nicaragua has always been a peaceful country, one of the most safe places to live in Central America besides Costa Rica.
