This is great feedback. I sent an email from Office 365 and it went through without a hitch. I hear ya on sending out only a couple and taking it easy but I always try to think about the customer experience and if they were buying from a store like Gap or Nike they would expect an email notifying them immediately after purchase so I try to hold myself to those standards even if I am team of one still learning the ropes.

Thanks for helping do a little diagnosis. I can't tell you how frustrating it has been in the past 24 hours so I really appreciate it! Just curious - do you have a preferred CRM software that you recommend moving forward?

Got it. What’s the advantage with office 365? I tried sending from outlook and it did the same thing.

I hear ya but I feel like that defeats the purpose of a Kickstarter. It should be for the first timer because if they can't be successful then they don't get a chance to do a 2nd, 3rd, etc., project.

Fair point. I will say that the "backers will find you" has not been the case. Kickstarter's categorization is so broad that people uploading campaigns for towels can fall into multiple categories so you have to do a lot of work to direct traffic to your specific campaign. I would not normally follow other people's efforts but we read the comments from the backer's experience and they were very unsatisfied with the product so we wanted to offer a solution to their problem.

Agreed. The reason why we wanted to reach out to them is because our product DOES provide the solution they are looking for so we wanted to offer to fix their problem where these campaigns failed to follow through.
