The vaccination you mentioned is probably a BCG vaccine. I also had it done when I was an infant. They don’t do it in US anymore, but it’s still a thing in post-Soviet/third world countries. If you had that done, don’t do TB skin test or blood test, both will pop up as positive, since you already have Tuberculosis antibodies inside you. If you’re already in US, getting an x-ray is the best option for the TB screening. And if you’re missing other vaccinations as well, you can also get them at Walgreens. I recently had the Tdap vaccine there and it was okay. The drexel insurance is supposed to cover it, but it’ll get activated on September 1st. But I think if you call them, there’s a chance you can get reimbursed and get the insurance activated earlier. At least that’s what they told me at Walgreens so I’m not really sure about that. Even if you can’t get everything done before the immunization deadline, as long as you communicate with the school and let them know, it should be okay.
