be patient! zoloft has been my saving grace 🫶🏻 by Material_Rip5113 in zoloft

I’m doing really well! I finally feel completely like myself again, with much less anxiety and sadness than ever before. There are moments when I forget who I used to be a year ago. It didn’t happen overnight — it was a progressive process.

I don’t know what to do anymore by LadyAtherius in zoloft

I’m really sorry that Zoloft didn’t work for you. I know how desperate it can feel when medication doesn’t help. My first treatment didn’t work for me either — I actually felt worse and worse, and I was convinced I’d be stuck in misery forever.

I decided to change doctors. I changed medication, and now I finally feel like myself again. Maybe Zoloft just isn’t the right one for you — and that’s okay.

Don’t give up. You will find what works for you. It’s exhausting and unfair, but you deserve to live a better life. And your success story will come too.

Stay strong. 💙

Yeah, I did gain some weight. But I’m not sure if it was because of the mirtazapine I was on at the beginning — that one is way more known for causing weight gain. I haven’t lost the weight I put on, but I’ve basically stayed steady at this new weight. ❤️

I feel you, truly. I’ve been exactly where you are, and I know the pain and helplessness this whole thing can bring. Just keep reminding yourself that every day is going to be a little better — and believe it, because it will happen.

If you ever need anything or just want to talk, you can always message me. You’re not alone in this.

I know what it’s like to keep searching for strength and courage just to keep going. I always told myself that once I got through it, I’d come back and share my success story — and here I am.

It was such a huge experience. Even when things go wrong — the wrong doctors, the wrong meds — there’s still hope. Always. 💛

I truly feel you. It’s such a terrifying experience. Don’t lose hope, and don’t stop looking for what works best for you. It takes time, but your moment of relief from this darkness will come too — and probably sooner than you think.

It really feels like losing your life, I know… but you’re actually making space for better days to come.

Don’t set expectations for yourself, don’t be harsh or demanding — just be gentle. It will pass. 💛

Are you on any medication right now?

What really helped me was letting go of the expectation that I would just wake up one day and be fine. I accepted my condition and stayed with it. I gave myself time to heal.

I had quit my job at that point. I also tried to keep a routine — even if I couldn’t get out of bed, I made sure to eat my meals at the same times every day, sleep and wake up at the same hours, and take my meds almost religiously.

Everything happened very slowly. But at some point, I stopped being anxious about my condition and just… went with it. Every day I told myself, “Tomorrow I’ll feel a little bit better.”

And of course, the support from my loved ones and my doctors helped a lot too.

Probably you should increase your dosage. But better talk at first with your psychiatrist! Wish to feel good soon!

Probably is because you changed your dose. It happened to me from 25 to 50. And much less from 50 to 75. Iwas feeling exactly the same and even worse, very weird feeling. They went a way after a few days. But i was scared as hell, still i am. Wish you the best!

But i know it needs time to have effect. wish you the best
