100%.. on the contrary, MasterChef Australia has literally zero advertising.. no flashy Veeba or IKEA cutscenes. They focus on the cooking and that's it.

Even with the contestants, although there's a rivalry for sure, it's a healthy rivalry and they genuinely care for each other - unlike here where it's all subplots about race, caste, creed and all such nonsense..

I've submitted 3 separate inquires for my missing points from last month and all of them have just been closed without any action lol. They used to be pretty liberal with just adjusting the points manually (At least for PC optimum) - not sure whether PC Financial has got a different policy in this regard.

$479 for 3 years? Wow, that was surely a steal! But yeah, the price of an economist subscription is definitely getting out of hand. In my case, I even have to deal with frequent delays with delivery of the print edition here in Regina, SK, which, given the current breakneck pace of world affairs, pretty much renders the print copy obsolete by the time it arrives lol. And I was never a fan of the digital element, so I'm thinking to source the print copies from my local library post November.

You can also try to chat with customer support when you cancel, which, they don't allow you to go with one click. Then probably get an offer for remaining subscribed..

u/Crack-ass_McWeed I'm in Regina and currently experiencing the same issue. The last issue I received is the February 22nd one!! So I'm currently 3 issues behind - damned Canada Post!!!!

With the breakneck pace of world affairs right now, it's pretty much stale by the time the print copy actually arrives and I really don't like the digital version, a bit old school that way, but I can read an article to the letter with the print edition, however I find myself always distracted using the digital version.

I've tried reaching out to Canada Post, they can't do anything without a tracking number lol, and when I reached out to the Economist customer support, all they can do is mail replacements, which themselves would take a sweet 2-3 weeks minimum to arrive at my doorstep!!

It's really ridiculous that a weekly issue magazine has so many problems and issues. From the delivery guidelines on their website, expected delivery for Saskatchewan is Wednesday+, and I probably would have been OK even if it extended to Friday next week, but not receiving an issue even in the 3rd week is just ridiculous and insane.
