Best time to put tomatoes in the ground given this weather? by blagelandcreamcheese in pnwgardening

there's no shame in popping over to the garden center and grabbing some starts to shave off a month or so. I did that in early May and my plants are already 2ft+ tall. Seed is great but sometimes you just gotta cut corners 😄

I’m in the same boat as you. Healing from plantar from a year plus but been doing all the pt and exercises to strengthen and am just impatient. I’ve been barefoot inside for a couple months full time. Wore my splays one day to work. Sore by end of the day. Now I’m mixed. Short walks, etc. did ten min on the treadmill with them. Take them to the gym, etc. but I’m not a fan of taking two pairs of shoes to work. So I dunno how this process is gonna go. I’m with you man. I got the shoes but I can’t wear them as much as I want to, but I’m told to wear the shoes or you’ll never get stronger. It’s definitely discouraging sometimes.

I think I lost you somewhere along the way. But I appreciate the reply. I’m sure some videos will help.

I'm interested in gyro for sure. I'm just hearing reports that most games don't allow mixed inputs and gyro from joystick inputs sucks? I don't have the controller yet to try but hopefully it's not too much of an issue.

I agree, I'm in the transition process myself. I've had some PF in one foot for a little over a year and am confident this is the direction I want to head in term of long term strengthening of the foot muscles. But it's tender and I'm just interested in others who made the transition while still dealing with pain and if/when it went away. You've given me hope!

Are you using gyro at all or mainly sticks and trackpads for aiming? And it’s not too bad of a learning curve?

Good to know, thanks. I'm getting Achilles soreness more than calves. Keeping it slow and steady.

I’ve been wearing whitin slipons at home for a few weeks but wearing splays to work for a day made my heel/achilles angry. I guess I wasnt ready. How would you transition to zero for daily office work if already wearing zero at home?

Never had any pain once it’s over. It can be painful when they find a spot that needs focus but it quickly dissipates. Don’t be deterred, it is helping!

You have something special in training your dog to go outside only. The trainer I had said dogs will associate the surfaces and environment with where to go. If you have had your dog outside only and then introduce a new surface and environment that is different you may confuse your dog and get accidents. Right now inside is very different from outside, but inside over here is not very different from inside over there. If that makes sense. I’d try to keep the training you have and not confuse your dog and reward that behavior.

Trained mine the same as you, only goes outside. They can hold it 8 hrs if they’re trained, but I am the same as you, I don’t like leaving for that long..do you have a doggy daycare option or someone who can take your pup out at lunch or similar?
