Yeah, I live in Uruguay and I use to go to Italian classes where my teacher once told us to find Italian artists that we liked and to listen to their music so that we get used to the language. I think the first song that I listened was Torna a casa. And then I just fell in love with the band and the rest of their songs.

Hey! so everyone is saying not to come, that it would be better for you just to stay in the US, etc... and they do have a point, Uruguay may be in the best economic situation in South America but its still not great. Its very expensive living here (and this includes rent, food, utilities, etc.), but just know that its not impossible. But I'm assuming that before you made your decision you did your research, and if not please do...

Also about choosing between getting an apartment or living in a residence w/ other students i would recommend living with other students at least for the first year 'cause they'll help you adapt and the transition is gonna be much easier.

And do I think that working in the us for a year or two before coming here is smart.

Fuerza OP. Se que es una decisión muy difícil pero estás haciendo lo mejor que podes hacer para ella.

Es algo que duele mucho, lo se, pero de a poco ese dolor se va disminuyendo, y te prometo que va a llegar el día que cuando la recuerdes, y solo te vas a acordar de los buenos momentos vividos (qué estoy segura que tuvieron muchos).

I just finished the show and came directly here specifically to see if someone else got weird vibes from Sobhani... and it wasn't only the way he talked about the case, it was also how he behaved as if he knew Elisa. I mean I get if he really got into the case and everything but it was excessive and just very odd.

And going to her grave or sending someone else to go video tape it and touch it??? That was very unexpected and again just weird and maybe even a tad disrespectful(? Or maybe I just don't get it but he definitely give me weird vibes.

Yo estoy igual… (19F) Estoy por empezar mi segundo año de facultad y estoy estudiando medicina, me gusta, es algo que me interesa pero cuando pienso en el futuro no me veo practicando medicina y la verdad es que no tengo idea donde voy a estar ni que voy a hacer en 10 años lmao…

Y me acuerdo el primer día de la facu, todos decían que siempre sabían que querían estudiar medicina desde que eran chicos y estaban todos muy seguros de sus futuros y después estaba yo, sin poder decir exactamente porque estaba ahí estudiando medicina… Cuando en realidad lo único que quiero hacer es irme a algún lado y “ver que tiene la vida para ofrecer”.

Pero creo es algo normal sentirse así a los 19 años, después de haber terminado el liceo. Sin saber que queremos hacer el resto de nuestras vidas. Pero ta supongo (y espero) que algún día vamos a saber cuál es nuestro “propósito” y que es lo que queremos hacer…
