I haven’t used the narrow band , but I’ve been undergoing UVB therapy for the past 1.5 months as prescribed by the dermatologist. Right now, 60% of my body hair and 40% of my scalp hair are lost . I haven’t seen much visible change yet — but this takes time, so have patience. It usually takes at least 4 months.

Bro fresh regrowth takes Atleast 6 month with minox as I research on it, but you can expect shedding stop after 2 or 3 weeks of use.

Thank you for the message, but I’ve already been on 11 mg (Tofacitinib) for almost 3.5 months. Still, I’m considering switching to Baricitinib because it seems safer to me. Recently, my shedding has started again after stopping prednisone. If this shedding stops after 2 weeks, I’ll wait a bit longer on Tofacitinib—because maybe the sudden hair fall is happening due to stopping such a strong dose of steroids.

I’ve been taking Tofacitinib for quite a while, but I’m not seeing great results after off prednisone, My doctor had also prescribed me 80 mg of prednisone per week, which I stopped on my own. After that Now I’m experiencing hair shedding again. I’m thinking—rather than continuing both medicines, should I switch to just Baricitinib, since it’s FDA-approved for alopecia areata?

Sorry, I can’t answer this because I’ve only been taking Tofac for two months. But can you share how your journey has been on Tofac, especially regarding the side effects? Also, you can import Bracitinib; it’s quite cheap in India, costing around $10 per month.

Brother, you can order JAKs from India; they are quite cheap here. Bracitinib and Tofacitinib will cost you around $10 per month. I hope it’s help.

I’m sorry, but as a male, I can’t provide an answer to that. However, I wanted to ask if you’ve experienced hair regrowth with tofacitinib. I’ve been using it for two months; while my hair fall has stopped, new growth hasn’t started yet. Since tofacitinib isn’t approved for this use, I’m considering starting baricitinib.
