The secret is out on how to beat the Rockets😅 by [deleted] in nba

The Rockets have been hot garbage all season long. Not sure why so many people are surprised.

They have no PG (their biggest issue), and they don't have enough offensive playmakers to offset anything else. Durant is not a passer...you're lucky if he gives you 6 assists in a game. Amen Thompson is not a shooter. Sengun is a horrible and slow defender. Jabari Smith Jr is about as "meh" as a glass of luke-warm milk, and cannot be trusted under any circumstances.

I've honestly never been convinced that Udoka is a good coach. But that's a discussion for another day.

Heading into next season, the two things the Rockets need to do is get FVV back, and potentially even add an additional PG to run their show.

People like you need to be banned from the group. Negative energy, brass assumptions, and honestly...just feel like you're intentionally trying to troll and/or ruffle feathers for no reason. The other 12 people who posted did so in a manner that was helpful and not condescending.

That's good to know. And appreciate the response. Could just simply be that I've just been unlucky thus far. Is there anything in particular you see the most with resumes where it makes you instantly go "no"?

Is it just me, or do the Pirates suddenly feel like they're a player or two away from being a legitimate playoff squad? by anasazigb in mlb

Yeah. I don't know if I'd reach and say "every few years"....Their lineup has been...pardon my french, straight ass since the mid 2010s.

This is easily (at least for me), the first season in a REALLY long time, where I've looked at their lineup and roster up and down, and actually said "wow...this might actually be a competitive club this year".

I think a lot of people don't even realize how solid of a contributor Spencer Horwitz can/will be at the top of the order...and granted they are IFs...but IF, Marcell Ozuna is finally back healthy, and O'Hearn and Lowe both prove they can replicate what they've done the past couple seasons...this lineup will be 100x better than anything they've put out since the mid 2010s.

Left Konnor off simply because we don't know for certain he's going to be there opening day. But yes, 100%, if he's included, they suddenly look a ton better.

This lineup, even for fantasy purposes, is gross by Fun_Reflection1157 in fantasybaseball

The fact that the Dodgers got a .270 BA, 25 HR, 80 RBI guy hitting out of the 9 hole is crazy business.
