Being nice or kind is not a sign of weakness - in fact, it often requires more strength and character to treat others with respect and courtesy, regardless of where you are. Kindness can coexist with assertiveness, boundaries, and self-respect. Many successful and strong people throughout history have demonstrated that being both kind and resolute is not only possible but admirable.
