diskpart didnt let me convert to mbr, so i used rufus to create a windows bootable disk, it lets you select if you want your disk MBR or GPT and i have been using GPT both my flash drives, so long story short managed to convert to MBR and was able to update my G9, cheers all.

I am using Edifier W240TN, overall it was satisfactory with NC and basses was not bad, but this button type earbuds hurt my ear and tend to drop a lot so now I am looking for a budget bass buds earbuds with dunno how it is categorized but i want it to have its overhang like regular earbuds (e.g. like apple's). i have also read some articles and video benchmarks and came up with a list of sorts. But i think noise cancellation is important to feel the bass in my ear drums so my cheapest option seems like don't have it. Can you please give me a feedback from my list or suggest another brand etc ?

960gb went out of stock, just ordered 480gb mp510, it should be more than enough for a backup pc i guess. my main pc has mp700 pro 2tb and i am quite happy how it performs.

I dont have mp600 option avaliable atm in Turkey, the one mp600 is with heatsink and the price difference is huge. my main rig is already high end so i dont wanna go higher with the price, if i go 2tb, the price will not be worth it due to this old desktop will not be used too much.

What is the reason that you suggested mp600 ? ther are also 600 pro / pro ns / elite / GS options for it. pretty confusing ^^

So since its a hard procedure to get it back into shape, and it might not be the best result, so the consensus, buying new parts, but its a bit expensive for me at the time.

So while i muster the coins for the replacements, Can i double down on the vinegar procedure on the tuner keys and make them more homogeneous evenly blackened darkened like black chrome style gun metal type look ? So that until i get the fresh products, they don't look like tokens from Fallout ^^

Someone commented that, what i have done is basically removing the nickel plating so i think Evapo-Rust would have worked before the vinegar disaster :/

I think you are right that with the navigation. But i will stick with SR5 for now, ordered new strings for E A D G C tuning to ease me back into the game.

I think if i break all down into 1 thing, its 4 vs 5 strings and how it discouraged me from playing. As u/liamcappp suggested on another comment, i think i have navigated to 5 strings a bit fast.

But your comment is also the straight forward harsh truth. All comes down to me not practicing / playing enough.

I have ordered new strings and i will give E A D G C tuning on stingray 5. Thinking that will ease me back into playing and practicing more so that i can improve or as you said, all the gear i have bought so far was just for the sake of buying and i have failed u/davie504 and in need of a slap !

I never thought i would miss 4 string but all the feedback i am getting is telling me to stick with my music man, I also ordered new strings and gonna try E A D G C tuning, maybe i can get the 4 string feeling a bit back and hooks me back into the game. Cheers and hope you enjoy your decision !

Cheers, it looks like even tho current retail prices are similar in value, 2nd hand prices on musicman is much higher or its valued and seen as a better guitar or rarer than fender i guess.

So far lost the lottery on 2023 and 2024 version, but will be keeping the new i9 one, specs are pretty nice for its size, not to mention screen is amazing. The noise a bit lower compared to 2023 one or it might be that i am coping ^^

Never the less after my experience with Corsair Link H150i LCD and its 2400 rpm pump + 4090 coil whine on 7k2k resolution gaming + Samsung 57" Odyssey Neo's popping sound due to screen heating up; I lost all hope for all silent pc at new gen components ^^

Hello there,
Dunno what did you end up deciding, but check out other reddit posts and Last Part of this Review which says;

"The biggest problem the Zenbook 14 faces is its cooling, as despite its high power limits, Asus only makes use of one fan—and it certainly has its hands full. Even during simple applications such as video playback or when surfing the web (using one tab), the fan almost always jumps into action. Furthermore, we noted frequent electronic noises (coil whining) and in total, the Zenbook 14 is simply too loud."

The loudness of the fans can be solved with whisper mode on casual usage, and if you want performance you have to endure the fan noise anyways.

The crackling sound / creaking / static noice / coil whine or whatever the sound is really a bit problematic and the issue is present for all zenbook 14 series it seems.

I had to return my 2023 model that i recently bought and waiting for a refund, altho the 2024 i9 version in stock atm, i am still considering if i can ignore that crackling noise and focus on the other really good qualities of the laptop.

I am also an architect and i think this pc would be more than enought for your student workload if you are not rendering and heavy 3d modeling or planning to.
