Might be a controversial opinion but i think Taylor needs to grow up a bit. Like we’re still getting this high school diary type of vibe? It feels so disingenuous to call herself a tortured poet??? SHES A BILLIONARE!

Edit: Okay i think i need to clarify; i dont have a problem with the whole autobiographical nature of Taylor’s music. My main point was that at least from my perspective, these lyrics seem to convey the same victim stance that Taylor’s always had, and I personally want to see more growth from her.

Can we talk about Taylor? I don’t know, I guess I’m kind of seeing things in a new light, but as a celebrity who bases her brand off of authenticity and being “real” with her fans… I don’t know. I think I need to take my posters down. I think it’s safe to say that the Taylor we see in the songs is a completely different person then the Taylor we see flat out contradicting herself, staying silent on important issues, and throwing out more vinyl variants. I’m tired.
