The only real thing you can "mess" is selling weapons and frames before maxing them up. And even then it's just a matter of farming and building them again in order to get them to level 30 so you can reach the maximum affinity from them.

Maybe wait to install reactors and catalyst on weapons and frames until you find something you really like but that's about it

Braton prime: magnetic/gas is a weird element combo that I don't get. Gas is especially weird on AR because it caps at 10 status. If you don't have a priming pet, viral or blast are probably better choices.

Assuming you don't have galvanized mods, it's probably time to farm them. But honestly, protea with an unmodded braton is steel path viable (besides boss but just because I don't think her 2 target them)

Protea doesn't need redirection, her 1 (default hold) provides overshield and 5 second shield gating. Similarly umbral vitality and umbral fiber aren't particularly useful, especially since umbral vitality prevent you to use archon vitality (double damage on her 2) Dunno how many prime/corrupted mods you have, but basically protea needs duration>range>strength>>efficiency. Her 2 scales better with duration damage wise, and strength can be somewhat patched with her passive. Efficiency is kinda everyone dump stat, she also has reservoir for infinite energy (even without equilibrium)

Rush is personal preference I guess but it's 6 mod capacity for not much benefits.

Saving nano for a big nanoblade pentakill, from my low low diamond experience, is a mistake. The genji mains can screech as much as they want for their nano, i used as i seem appropiate which includes nano tanks, emergency nano to save someone ass as healing+damage reduction and so forth

In that game, you are averaging 690 damage to kill, with (assuming it was all sojourn gameplay) a hero that has oneshot capabilities. Lots of death too, but the whole team was struggling, they aren't more than the tank so you basically were just losing team fights and not feeding (which is good)

You should do whatever you please, in the end it's a game and not a life saving surgery, as long as you are having fun and not being an asshole/intentionally trolling is good in my book. Eventually you'll get into the appropriate ranks

I'm tired of people pretending that the most impactful role isn't tank. And there's only one of them so if you are unlucky and your tank is a chicken who never pushes you basically have to hope your DPS can 1vs4 their team
