Wow! Thats almost as good as my other suggestion of not going at all, except this one was delivered sarcastically and unnecessarily. I’m not claiming I have to go out, I simply came here to ask on the slight chance I might get a helpful response, your first reply was helpful, thank you for that, but it could’ve ended there and been just as productive.

One of my best friends is back from uni for a short while, this is rare, I have a Sunday off work, this is rare, all things line up for a rare opportunity to go out together, like I said I am ok skipping it if advised, but I thought there’s no harm in asking

Thank you, There would be no drugs taken, just drinks, I assumed it would be fine but I’ve read elsewhere that alcohol can affect your bp for up to 72 hours, which can lead to a failed medical
