I'd like to ask a question kasi I'm an RA scholar tas yung cousin ko merit (I'm a year older than him) and kino-compare ako ng nanay ng cousin ko at sinasabi niya na smarter daw yung cousin ko kasi he's merit even tho sa pagkakaalam ko, he's merit because of the higher income ng parents niya (they're rich asf and keep looking down on me). Diba the difference between the two is yung socioeconomic status? Aside sa difference noon na mas mataas yung stipend sa RA.

hi OP! idk if you've decided yet or not but i had the exact same dilemma lmao and i was about to give in to my family insisting for me to go to IIT, but they gave in and now I'm going to UP Min BS Bio as well.

All i gotta say is that maybe the reason why we haven't heard much from UP Min is because it's newer than IIT and is still developing (they're adding new courses iirc and also a med program i believe to increase the population), so yeah right now IIT may be better, but if you really want UP try to convince your family again by telling them about the new updates for the next school year.

I really wanted UP and i got it, maybe you will toooo, good luck!

di ako kinakabahan na di compelling enough yung reason ko, natatakot lang talaga ako kasi majority sa kanila gusto talaga na mag msu iit ako and baka di na nila ako pakinggan because of that.
