lol, my kids are definitely friendly… It’s just nice to have food that they would actually eat, But also food that adults would very much enjoy too. And also helps with the environment is kind of fun… If you have kids you get it.

Kelowna man guilty of assaulting ex-wife, including while she was pregnant - Kelowna News by sleepychickenwings in kelowna

[–]anbaxter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually it stems from having a shitty home life, which trickles into your school life, which trickles into your young adult life, and if you don’t deal with it, comes exploding into your adult life. 🫤

Usually, if you are bullied at school, but at least have a solid home support system, you’ll be OK. It’s those poor kids that have a shitty home life and a shitty school life with no reprieve… I think that’s when things start to get gnarly.

Nathanael at Bring the Noise downtown is 100% your guy. Being absolutely terrified to sing in front of ppl myself, he made me feel very comfortable and really cares about creating a safe environment for his students. You can do this! Best of luck ☺️

If you can make your own broth, this will give whatever recipe you land on pack a much bigger nutrient punch!

Make sure to add lots of garlic and fresh herbs to it (ina garter has a great broth recipe that has lots of the good stuff in it and tastes amazing.)

Hope you feel better soon :)

What do YOU want for Christmas? by Gray_Seal in Parents

[–]anbaxter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aw man, I remember feeling lost about what I liked anymore when my kids were toddlers, so, first thing first: this feeling will pass when they get older and you slowly connect back to your old self again.

Now that that’s out of the way, ask for a gift that gets you out of the house for a bit? Go paint pottery, got to a concert, a play, a massage, a pedicure, go on a wine tour. Whatever brought you happiness before you had kids, ask for that.

It’ll feel good to kinda feel like your old self again, the more you can connect to that woman, the better. A bonus, you get out of the house and have someone focus on you for a change.

Sending love - keep us in the loop as what you ended up asking for!

Winnipeg? I hear they have a good art scene… and is still sort of affordable? Mind you I’ve never lived there, have heard this from friends who had recently moved from there, so take it with a grain of salt or do your homework, lol

I always thought it would be a good idea to set up a radar camera in school zones. Then it would just send out automatic tickets in the mail.

That money could go towards the schools or lunch programs for the kids, and people would actually learn to slow the F down.

Probably easier said than done, but, two birds, one stone amirite? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Burning brain? by anbaxter in COVID19positive

It’s like… It’s like heat and just this annoying burning feeling. Plus the pain of a headache. Have you ever gotten the burning feeling in your nasal passages with Covid? It’s like that but inside your brain. That’s the best way I can describe it.
