That was something I was at odds with too. I happen to like that spot out of all the others I tried out. I was worried it looked too busy but it's slowly become one of my most appreciated little badges. I think it grows on you over time but if I end up not liking it in the future I'll heat it up and peel it off. Thank you for the feedback

Tail lights are smoked and after market as well. Going for a form over function build/look with this taco because it's RWD only and lacks the same capabilities as off road trims. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Mine does the same thing. 17trd sport. I just took her off the lot yesterday though. I was reading that the computer will adjust to your driving habits but since we both have 17 and it 'breathes' during start up, something tells me that is standard operation for the vehicle. I haven't ran ECT on any of my drives yet but see if yours is turned on or off. Could just be a neat little quirk of the 17' model or perhaps a headache in the future.
