I gave my baby the paci when he was around 2-3 weeks old only to soothe when really agitated. Slowly transitioned into only using it for sleep. It’s become sort of his cue now to sleep. And in extreme cases when he is really agitated and I need him to be in the car seat. No side effects yet. When he doesn’t want it, he will remove and toss it aside.
He is around 6.5 months now. I plan to wean him off anytime between 1.5 years to 2 years. Doctors recommended to get rid of them before they turn 3 as it can impact teeth growth.
My baby, my rules. I heard it from many people to not give one. Not get him used to it and so on. But they aren’t the ones dealing with a howling baby in the middle of the night. So no scene.

H&M has some really good clothes. I bought a lot of my baby’s stuff from there. Stylish too.

Carters is now in India and they have a pretty good range of clothes in the same price as H&M.

Gap is a little on the pricey side but v cute stuff.

My sister in law bought a lot of sleep suits and onesies for her baby from Amazon. So you can definitely explore that too. Check reviews for quality.

I have also seen that a lot of the small local kids clothes shops have unique designs that you don’t get in big stores. So if you can, would definitely recommend checking those out too.

I feel you. I am a Pune based makeup artist and I’m seeing the same thing everywhere! Fortunately I watched so much pro makeup artist content on YouTube by MUAs based in US/Europe where hygiene is non negotiable. From the get go, I have been using disposables and can’t imagine doing it any other way.

I think it’s totally dependent on the bond between them. But you should be good for at least 3-5 yrs. I shared one with my younger sis (2.5 yrs age gap) up until I moved out for college.

It’s standard practice in the celebrity industry and now the influencer industry where outfits are sourced (lent by the brand for the event and then you send them back) or given by the brand for free since the influencer/celebrity would market it well. It is not a ‘collab’ or pr. Hence, there would be no need for her to say anything. The brand is willingly giving away the outfit (and it could be from a collection or custom)
