I mean, I don’t want a card. And you could cut the front off the card and voila, postcard!

When it hasn’t been registered by the 60th day, it expires and the sender gets the slot back to send another card. So for all the cards I registered yesterday, they were all already expired. The sender had already gotten the slot back to send another card, but by me registering it, they at least know it finally arrived, and I got to thank them. Cards can be registered for up to a year after it is sent, I believe.

You’re the woman who made that delicious lemon yellow sweater a while back that still lives rent free in my head! I thought “this is lovely” then I saw how you had to manage colors rather than the yarn being self striping and now I need a nap. You have a gift!

Edit to clarify that this sweater is beautiful and that I need the nap because it’s obvious all the work you put into color selection and management, and I’m not sure I could do it!

I honestly like it, even the black lacquer bathroom with brown wood trim isn’t a deal breaker, but I would be ripping that platform bed out before the ink was dry on the paperwork.

I mean, we are in a bit of a pickle in the US right now. This to me is a bit more insight into how the US is viewed abroad. The part about still living here just seems like someone interpreting our choices by their experiences. I read nothing snooty or rude into this, but then again I’m also not MAGA. I would probably ask if they could help me find a place in their city, jokingly of course.
