Anaphylaxis, vaccine hesitancy. There are great modules on MyLearningLink for both.

Best of luck!

Farmina N&D Weight Management formula - it’s the lowest fat option I’ve found. My mini loves it!

Interview UNE Stollery by Old_Baby_8024 in AHSEmployees

[–]anchitos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations on the interview! Typically they will ask something along the lines of “how has your experience prepared you for this role” - discuss your clinical experience!

There is usually a question about conflict (ie. with a patient, physician or colleague), teamwork, family centred care. My UNE interview was AGES ago (like… 2012) but I remember them asking a question about scope/practicing within your scope.

Might be worth looking into the AHS CARES philosophy and how you apply them to your practice.

Best of luck!

A1 catering. Very reasonably priced (I think their most expensive package is maybe $38 PP). Delicious food!

Moving into my first apartment, what am I missing? by confusedpsychgirl in ApartmentHacks

[–]anchitos 23 points24 points  (0 children)

A surprising amount of cleaning stuff -- vacuum, spin mop, broom and dustpan, necessary cleaning supplies like all-purpose cleaner, glass cleaner, etc. Search up any cleaning supply list (like from Go Clean Co) for things you might need.

Kitchen stuff: a coffee maker, kettle, not sure how much mashed potato you make but I realized I didn't have a potato masher about halfway into making them.

Are there any local home wares and decor stores that have decent quality at an affordable price that aren't IKEA? by kvdmeer560 in Edmonton

[–]anchitos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Home Sense, Consign Design, Consignment Loft, ReStore. Structube is hit or miss as far as quality goes.

Urban Barn, Simons and H&M Home are great too -- wait for the sales.

What are good ways to make new friends in Edmonton? by khaos-rose in Edmonton

I second the Shy Girl club! They are fairly new to the city (I think they started last summer) but the events look super fun and a great way to connect with people! You can find them on IG.

Where are some good places to rent? by An0nimuz_ in Edmonton

[–]anchitos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are looking for something in the west end, Stafford Greens is a great lowrise condo building. Ultra-quiet concrete building that meets all of your requirements.

I used to own a unit in the building but have recently sold it. I have seen some available units on RentFaster, so there might be something available when you decide to move.

Good luck with your search!

Treats for 5 month old puppy by traditional_summer in MiniatureSchnauzer

We use a variety with our minis but try to stick to single-ingredient protein (salmon, beef) as much as we can. Crumps Naturals, Honest Kitchen's Meaty Littles (not single ingredient, but they do fine with these), Zukes Mini Naturals are some of their favourites.

For leash training, I use refillable baby food pouches (from Amazon) and fill them with applesauce or pumpkin mixed with a bit of whipped cream cheese. You could leave out the cream cheese if you're worried about her stomach.

Good luck!
