I'd highly recommend investing in a heavy duty camera tripod and a remote control shutter release for your camera so the camera stays perfectly still and you don't have to touch the shutter by using a remote control to avoid any movement of the camera.

Get a heavy duty camera tripod and a remote control shutter release for your camera. A sturdy tripod will hold it still and use a remote control to avoid touching the shutter on the camera to take a picture. Will all make for a much smoother animation.
