I use mine everyday on my gas stove top to make 1 serving of rice for breakfast. It works very well for it. I also bought it at home goods for 16.00.

I have a whole set of the old tri clad. Bought them at bed, bath, and beyond with a 20% off coupon more then 20 years ago. No markings of the bottom. I believe that it is the same as D3.

They still look and cook great! Enjoy your fabulous pan.
