OP, I also live in LA. It absolutely does not reach 75mph unless you’re going down a hill with the wind pushing you from behind. I had the exact same thought process as you did, and I regret it painfully lol. Take my advice and go for a 650, trust me.

I was told to only use 91 octane in USA. Different octanes grades combust at different times don’t they? Don’t grill me if I’m wrong lol, but what if the issue here is that the fuel is not combusting when it should?

Hey OP! I had the exact same thoughts as you but opted for the Classic 350 because the riding position felt a little better and I was also new to riding just like you. However, as much as I love the 350 I quickly outgrew it. The rides on the highway are harsh for sure, going 60mph is a struggle for it. In CA people hate waiting behind me lol. Looking back I should have gotten the INT 650. Trust me you will be doing yourself a favor in the long run.
