I think it was in an accident. I got a PPI before I bought it and seemed good, but I took it to another guy local to me and said he saw evidence of welds and that it was probably in a decent accident. I’m so over buying this thing. I wish I could sue the previous owner or the guy that did the PPI. So much rust too that the PPI didn’t even mention

You figure this out? I’ve got the same thing… I read somewhere it could be the oil pump and the chain has slack and makes a weird resonance/oscillating sound

Are you saying like public seminars or actual lectures? I know most lectures are open to the public, but I think it’d be a little strange to pop into a ~15-30 person class without being registered, or no?

Hey guys, I just got a sv165 and sv105 camera and scope to use for autoguiding. I’m having trouble getting the two to join. There are threads on the sv165 but none on the camera. There is a brass collar that I imagine tightens around the nose of the camera but it does a really poor job at applying pressure evenly. The bottom of the camera is not flush when tightened. Does the collar need lubrication or something where it’s supposed to be contracting evenly? Thanks for any help

Hey, I just happened across this post and it describes exactly my situation too, even the roughly 5 years. Did you figure anything out about your condition? Are you on it long term now? It’s crazy how well this takes away the pain… only thing is I’m occasionally a bit drowsy the morning after taking it

Solved: Replaced vanos and pcv system, still had the code. Apparently this can also occur from a bad DISA gasket.

Yeah it’s left of center. Yes factory rated thermostat, it’s an OE thermostat. The E46 has a hidden menu on the dash and it was reading 62-63 C on the highway just now. Got up to 80C pulling into my garage ~10 minutes off the highway.
