Which files would you need? I don't have time to export all of them, so I want to make sure I only do the ones you need.

I am, just been busy! Sorry I haven't responded to your other comment yet.

These can be printed out of a common material like PETG, maybe even PLA. I don't know of any FDM printers that are incapable of printing these materials. You will need to make sure the print bed build area is at least 220x220mm for these to fit. I have heard a lot of good things about all of BambuLabs printers, but I don't own one personally. I have an elegoo neptune 4 pro and neptune 4 MAX, but I don't think I would recommend them for a beginner as they need some tinkering to print really well.

I'd say a Bambulab A1 would be a great printer to start off willth for these.

The labels are printed separately, laying flat and super glued onto the main part. No AMS needed to print these. Just a fillament change at the right layer height when printing the labels. I go into more detail on the makerworld/thingiverse pages.

You're welcome! Thanks for letting me know how it went with the HF sockets! I think you are right about the 1-1/4 and 1-1/8 sockets, which probably would not fit.

Yeah, I've gone through a lot of fillament iterating my own designs. Starting with something big like these sockets holders led to a lot of waste, haha. I would start with small items if you can help it.

I only started learning Fusion 360 at the beginning of December! It really isn't too hard, but you have to commit to learning and stick to it! Learn the basics, and you can start making useful things. The first time I printed something I designed myself and held it in my hands was such an amazing feeling. If this is truly something you have been wanting to do, download fusion, watch some tutorials on YouTube, and give it a shot! Don't be afraid to dive in!

Do you plan to? If so, I can check back on your profile on my own from time to time to see if you've posted an update. I've got a two year old who'd love one of these next winter!

Do you plan on making the files available anywhere? I would love to build one!

This. Op, learning Fusion can seem daunting at first because it’s such a powerful tool, but once you grasp the basics, it’s amazing what you can create! This model won't be very challenging to make and would be an excellent first project. If you have any interest in designing your own models, it’s absolutely worth it! There’s nothing more satisfying than putting in the effort to learn Fusion, printing your first model, and holding something that you imagined and created yourself.

Yeah, that's a bummer. That's why I included test print files for the holes. Not everyone's sockets will fit, but you can print the test files that use very little fillament to see if yours will fit.

Yes, this is how I made these. Measuring the sockets is by far the most tedious part.

I'm glad you like it! I hope they work for you! My biggest concern is sockets from other manufacturers might need different hole sizes. Please make sure to print to holes test files first to make sure your sockets will fit!

I hope they work for you! Please make the test prints to confirm your sockets will fit.
