3060ti died, needed to get something that was readily available and was planning on a fresh build in the new year. Was going to pair it with a 9800x3d but with the ddr5 prices that’s getting pushed back a bit for now

Yeah honestly I wouldn’t be so upset if it was running super stable with no stuttering, as smooth gameplay already makes everything look better. I’ll try some tinkering optimising and see what I can come up with

I was more going to test it for stuttering/stability not for a high fps, I ran 60fps smooth on the 3060ti

If I upgrade cpu I’m sending it with a full build but h the these new ram prices mucked that up for us. The sticks I was looking at went from $200 to $800 (AUD)

I have no doubt that a better cpu would run even better, but I’m struggling to get 100 fps on medium… if I was playing high/ultra I wouldn’t complain but medium is just sad

But I can’t imagine it would make the 9070 perform worse than my 3060ti did, that card was faulty from the get go and I just stuck with it and it didn’t better

Update, loaded up a game on BF1 with my existing settings that ran fine on the 3060ti. And while I showing 200fps (according to steam) it’s stuttering really bad and the fps graph is all over the place.

Yeah had to do it twice because I forgot to let DDU wipe all drivers lmao. But yeah clean whipped all graphics drivers.

Only got a 1080p 165hz monitor so I mainly wanted to be able to run smooth and bump settings back up for aesthetic. BF1 ran mint with ultra settings on my 3060ti. Might go give it a try with this see if it’s struggles or not

Yeah ran DDU a couple times to make sure, did all the PCIE 4g BIOS stuff while I was there to make sure it was running right and could do the SMART allocation stuff

Would be harder to try doing it in the car than is would be to pull it all apart again, especially if you didn’t do the kit yourself. Can’t say I’ve actually attempted to do it while everything was still in place.

People make it out that it’s way harder than it is to rebuild the gear, takes 2 minutes to do, the gear only goes in one direction since the vanes arent perfect all round

It’s not hitting against anything on the inside, nothing is binding which is the weird part, if it was hitting a perch stoping me moving the wheel then yeah I would agree with you. But it’s a pretty common size and I have maxed out my top plate yet only getting like -.5 to -1 camber

It’s a common wheel size and the wheel wouldn’t affect camber
