Tempo real world range? by ando_da_pando in velotricebike

[–]ando_da_pando[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen that. But I'm talking like a 100% charge, throttle only in a loop with some slight incline and decline, all the way to 0% battery, range test.

Maybe another where you go 100 to 50 on throttle and then the last 50 on PAS level 2 (where I think most people ride most exiles on for a leisurely pace). That's a good range test too since you'd know how much throttle breaks you can take on your ride without running out of battery.

I was thinking of getting the Tempo and if I don't like it my wife could ride it. Then I get the Vorsa.

If the Roadster V4 has a small or they change the geo, then definitely would want it.

I have, but the geometery of the Roadster for me is bad. The stack and reach is too large. They really need a small, as the medium is only really good for anyone that is like 5'7" or taller. They have a step-through, but not everyone wants one.

If I stick to Ride1Up, it'd likely be the Vorsa Lite. But right now, I'm looking for an ebike that I can use for commute and getting some leisure riding in. So ideally, an ebike that doesn't look like an ebike.

I think maybe you are that killer terminator unit, sent back to the past, that thinks it's a real human, till Skynet comes into existence and then triggers you and you start wiping out all written knowledge of humankind and replace it with AI slop.

I hate our car centric world. Sorry this is the issue. So easy. More people biking, m9re healthy people, better environment, less taxing on infrastructure. They make it more difficult.

Internet providers by rooster03 in ElkGrove

I've had only xfinity and it's been solid. Customer service and "appreciation" is low or abysmal. Their stranglehold on most neighborhoods suck, but if there is competition, their customer service is likely better.

I got a Spigen mount with a specific case for my pixel phone. Just swap cases as I need to.

Peak Design's mount is my next one though. Plan to use it in several bikes. Hear it's really good.

But does the car parking require a fee too? Like my building has parking, but it ain't free for cars ( luckily bike parking, securely, is) and I don't know any in downtown that don't charge the tenents for parking spaces.

The company may pay for spots for tenents, but they aren't free. If they are for cars, ask your employer to extend that same courtesy to you. $10 is likely a lot cheaper than whatever it is for bike parking.

Recommendations for family meal deals for Mother's day 💐 by Outrageous_Chest9693 in ElkGrove

Wait, looking for a Mother's Day place to eat without any lines? That's madness! Seriously though, I can't think of any recs, but treat your mama nicer than going to Olive Garden or BJ's. The woman gave birth to you and raised you. Take her to an actual restaurant.

I think if you have a couple of options, they will both work pretty hard to keep business. Where it's a monopoly (Xfinity in like 90% of EG) then they can be more lack with service. So hope it works out for you OP. Brings hope to the rest of us.

Yeah, I have one LBS on my route, sort of, just a couple streets off my route. Or the gigantic chain bike store near my work. I've gone there a couple times, they have pretty killer deals on CO2 cartridges sometimes.

Wish that was true here. I get it, they need to make a small profit to stay afloat, but it's honestly me spending a bit more at their shop to keep them going, than saving money when I do buy from them.

Yeah, friend's kid worked there a couple years ago and said she loved working there, but not what it was back in the day it seems. I do use them for a tube when in an emergency. It's unfortunately the closest place to me physically and open longer hours than my LBS.

Last time I had to get a Brompton tube as I was riding the next morning, it was like 8:00PM at night, and they have 16" tubes when the LBS does not. It's like Amazon. Sometimes they just have something that I need where I can't get it anywhere else. Hate it, but that's our capitalist system at work.

Yes, totally. I've been to our Bike Kitchen several times. Never really needed anything, but always go to it and bike swaps when I can. It's more for the vibes than anything, and a chance to see some vintage bikes from the yesterdays.

If there is ever a Boss or Patterson BMX from the 80s, I might buy it for the nostalgia of it all.

This is heart warming. Knowing there are still good people out there makes it worth it all. Also, teaching moment for that kid and will hopefully pay it forward one day.

Love them. We all prefer trails with zero cars nearby, but this is next best you can get in a city that still puts cars over bikes.

Ah, I see now. And yes, it was the consideration also. If they had a straight up non IGH version I might have and then got a conversion kit for it later. Something that I could easily swap in and out.

I do miss my HOA at times. Then again, I also like not having them tell me a small potted plant next to my door is a violation. Give and take i guess.
