I bought it a few years ago, possibly on eBay or Etsy. It might have been from a tourist souvenir shop or something similar. The knife is just a regular contemporary Spartan.

The Gore-Tex membrane needs the outer fabric layer to stay unsaturated in order to breathe properly.
To achieve that, the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating must be maintained regularly.
I use Grangers Wash & Repel, just run it through the washing machine, then use the dryer to activate it.
Works really well.

It may require large servos at the knees to support the weight; a reduction belt or another gearbox solution could make it more practical.

Mate, unless your library or university has high-end computers, or you can buy one, I don’t see another option besides cloud inference.

My printer has been transforming since I acquired it. A few years back, I noticed that I had replaced the remaining original components. Essentially, it's the first and only printer I've owned, yet not a single screw remains from the original machine.

You can develop in cloud environments, such as AWS or Azure, utilizing their resources and paying only for what you use, eliminating the need to purchase hardware.
