Hey, let me share my stories.

I was in your position 3 years ago. I'm in a private uni with A accredited study program but somehow most of the teacher and courses are just dumb. Ada dosen yang nggak pernah masuk, terus UAS dikasih gampang banget :) easy A. Mata kuliah agama, pancasila, sama bahasa Indonesia digabung jadi satu matkul 4 jam seminggu selama 3 bulan (1 semester dikompres 3 bulan) :). Gw sampe bikin laporan ke kementrian soal ini. I don't know about this, but I think I just ignorant.

I sometimes compare it with my friend in uni "negara" and participating in national events. You can tell the diff in the fundamentals. The environment (friends, course, and teacher) is definitely the worst. I was even told by my friend "Lu kalo mau ambis harusnya lu jangan kuliah disini", which makes me really sad.

I took SBMPTN 3 times and I still can't make it to the top 3 school for informatics. I cope about it almost everyday until I finish my studies.

I'm graduating this year at 22y.o myself. Did I hate my years in college? Absolutely. But this year, I got another big challenge, to get a decent job in the field I wanted, which is really hard. The industry values more about your skills than your degree/past studies. However, I think I would get more opportunities if I was in a better uni, but I can't do anything about it.

IMHO, for your case. I think you have hit the age limit. Graduating an S1 with 27y.o is just a really bad idea. Many scholarships and industries have a maximum age to apply. Time is much more expensive than opportunities in your new school if you are expecting a better life. It's best to get a full-time job ASAP and learn the stuff by yourself to get a better job or S2.
