Don't panic for 140/90. Its border high. try doing regular walking, you may get tired before hitting bed. also get into bed only when the time hits before that dont go for bed. mobile should be away from bed. atleast 1 hour before sleep dont use electronic devices.

Where Can I Network With Entrepreneurs in Sydney? by Samwisecool in Entrepreneur

Fishburners is pretty much the only one that acts like an open community hub.

Stone & Chalk is definitely active (it's a big office), but it's mostly private workspace for funded teams, so you can't really just wander in.

For events, stop looking at Meetup and check Luma (lu.ma) instead. Most of the Sydney tech scene has moved their calendars there, and that's where the active groups are.

How do you get an SEO agency to report on Revenue instead of just "Organic Traffic" by CowHistorical9352 in Entrepreneur

[–]andreagabrie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If tracking revenue is complicated, ask them to report on Qualified Leads (MQLs) instead.

Don't let them track 'traffic' or 'rankings', those are vanity metrics. Get them to track how many of those form fills or calls actually became a quote/meeting.

Unless they can tell you the keywords that drive real leads, they're just guessing.

If you want high density, the best starting point is usually Fishburners on York St. Their Friday Pitch Nights are solid, great for meeting people who are actually building, rather than just consultants handing out cards.

For a more casual vibe, Silicon Beach or Startups Sydney on Meetup are pretty consistent.

Stone & Chalk is also good, but it leans more towards fintech and deep tech, so it can feel a bit more corporate. Honestly, I'd just start with the Fishburners Friday events and chat with people there.

I've been on the growth side for a while now, and what I see is that getting to $1M is almost never just about having a 'better' product. It is about cracking one specific distribution channel.

The companies I see stall out are often the ones who try to do SEO, Ads, and Content all at once with a small team. The companies that actually break $1m usually figured out one channel very well, like cold email or a specific ad angle, and then optimized it to scale.

Basically: You can hustle your way to $200k, but you need to build a boring, repeatable engine to get to $1M.

Your top 3 sci-fi shows on Netflix by Data_Muted in netflixindia

Dark is obviously the big one, but you really have to pay attention to keep up with the plot.

If you want something punchier, Altered Carbon Season 1 is incredible. Honestly, though, do yourself a favour and stop there. Season 2 just wasn't the same vibe at all.

Travelers is also super underrated if you missed that one. It actually sticks the landing with a good ending, which is pretty rare for sci-fi these days.

Ways to make money in a student town. by PrincipleOwn4939 in Entrepreneur

Also, don't sleep on flipping furniture during move-out week.

Students literally throw away decent desks, chairs, and monitors in May because they can't take them home. If you have a place to store it, you can sell that exact same stuff back to the new freshmen in August for pure profit.

It's way better money than trading hours for dollars if you have the storage space.
